PARTICIPANT WAIVER — 5K RUN CON BANDA November 21, 2026 • Shake Up Protein Bar, Sylmar THIS AGREEMENT RELEASES CERTAIN LEGAL CLAIMS. I voluntarily participate and assume the risks of running, walking, and attending, including falls, collisions, traffic, weather, physical exertion, serious injury, or death. Streets and paths may remain open. I will follow traffic laws, crossing signals, and safety instructions, choose an appropriate pace, and seek help if needed. I am responsible for lawful parking and personal belongings. To the extent permitted by California law, I release Gains and Glory LLC, co-organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and participating property owners from participation-related injury, death, or property damage claims, including ordinary negligence. This excludes gross negligence, reckless or intentional misconduct, and liability that cannot legally be waived. I have read, understand, and voluntarily accept these terms. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must accept on their behalf and confirm authority to consent.
